As part of our Restoring You program, a token of our appreciation for their efforts and true to our purpose of Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life®, Caliber gifted four fully restored vehicles to frontline workers in the Dallas area. Through our partnership with NABC’s Recycled Rides®, our technicians from four Dallas/Fort Worth centers volunteered their time and expertise to fully restore these vehicles to pre-accident condition. Thanks to the public’s nominations, we were able to identify remarkable frontline heroes to receive the gift of reliable transportation.

• Samantha Christian, 2018 Nissan Rogue
  Christian, a COVID-19/ICU nurse at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in McKinney, is a single mother with two teenage daughters. She works long hours and was using a borrowed car to get to and from work. Her dedication to patient care earned her a DAISY Award for Nursing Excellence. She was gifted a 2018 Nissan Rogue.

• Michael Diva, 2017 Nissan Maxima
  Diva, a first-year nurse at Baylor Scott and White T. Boone Pickens Cancer Center treats cancer patients who have been exposed to COVID-19. He supports his parents, who live with him, and must be mindful of all of their health. His schedule has to be flexible which is challenging and stressful. Michael was gifted a 2017 Nissan Maxima.

• Amanda Lund, 2017 Nissan Rogue
  Lund works with the nursing staff at Baylor Scott and White in College Station and helps COVID-19 patients recover from the virus. She is a single mother with two children and the family did not have a car. She had been walking three miles to work, adding safety concerns when she had to work night shifts and overtime. She was gifted a 2017 Nissan Rogue.

• DeMarcus Turner, 2017 Nissan Pathfinder
  Turner has served as a Dallas Police Department Officer for 10 years. He and his wife, also a law enforcement officer, have two young daughters and recently welcomed his teenage nephew to live with them. During the pandemic, he has had to take on extra shifts and duties. Despite a busy schedule, he makes time to volunteer for Carry The Load and Assist the Officer Foundation. He was gifted a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder.

We remain committed to improving the lives of the people in the communities we serve. Part of that commitment lies in supporting the frontline workers who risk their lives every day to keep our communities healthy and safe through this pandemic.
